MPEG Audio Layer III (.mp3)This standard has also evolved from early MPEG work. It is an audio compression technology that is part of the MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 specifications. The Fraunhofer Institute developed MP3 in Germany in 1991. MP3 uses perceptual audio coding to compress CD-quality sound with almost the same fidelity.
WAV stands for Waveform Audio. This uncompressed file type was originally developed by IBM and Microsoft in 1991, and is the still default file type on Windows machines. It supports sample rates up to 192kHz, bit depth up to 32-bit.
Below you can find all of the actual \"bootleg\" CDs (or \"Silvers\" as I like to call them) that have been pressed over the years. Before the internet and the ease of sharing concert recordings via lossless files, there was more of a market for these \"bootleg\" CDs. You would usually see these in record stores for astronomical prices because the person who would record the show would send their master tapes overseas to some bootleg company who would then press these to a disc. These were not burned discs and they were professionally copied. Obviously, dual discs in order to fit the whole performances were scrapped because it was more to manufacture a double disc release. So these bootleg companies would omit a few songs to make sure they fit to one disc. Hence why some of these releases are incomplete. If the performance was shorter (mostly the 89-91 sets) they would add bonus tracks from other recordings that were available. At the archive, we don't condone bootlegging and to be honest, it has pretty much fallen by the waistside the last 20 years or so thanks to the internet and everything being so readily available. If we do see something that isn't out there, we try and liberate it. Below are silver CDs that we have in the collection that you can download in full. Over time, you'll be able to click the link and there will be a page with the overview of the silver CD, cover art and the download of it inside. But for now, each link will download a zip file of the pressed CD. If you notice that there isn't one on this list, please get in contact so I can add it. Thanks and enjoy! But in this recording you hear him yell about how the fans were in their seats during \"Sin\". The article states that in Portland, Trent Reznor talks about how lame the 04/20/1994 crowd is. Dolby Laboratories adapted the MDCT algorithm along with perceptual coding principles to develop the AC-3 audio format for cinema needs. The AC-3 format was released as the Dolby Digital standard in February 1991.[4][5] Dolby Digital was the earliest MDCT-based audio compression standard to be released, and was followed by other MDCT-based audio compression standards for home and portable usage, such as Sony's ATRAC (1992), the MP3 standard (1993) and AAC (1997).[6]
In 1991, a limited experimental release of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country in Dolby Digital played in 3 US theatres.[20] In 1992, Batman Returns is the first movie to be released in Dolby Digital.[21][22] In 1995, the LaserDisc version of Clear and Present Danger featured the first home theater Dolby Digital mix, quickly followed by True Lies, Stargate, Forrest Gump, and Interview with the Vampire among others.[23][24]

Earth (1991) 08:00 buy track about Here's a collection of tracks dating back to my humble beginnings as a 16 year old armed with a Commodore Amiga with a FULL 1 megabyte of RAM (true power), dreaming that one day I may release music. Often in those daysI was making tracks with my pal Martin Nice (currently releasing as Lanowa) with his 4 track, my computer and a couple of synths. It was with Martin that I got the bug for music making, and I felt that even though I must be mad, or a total dreamer, I wanted to do it as a career. The early mid-90s followed, and I subsequently dropped out of my Fine Art Degree (in typical art school drop out fashion) because I met a talented chap called Ian Sanderson (Urban Myth Club), who'd posted an ad in a local music shop looking for electronic producers. I was out of my depth for sure. He taught me a hell of a lot back in those days, as we made a lot of strange ambient music together, and even released leftfield sample libraries under the guise of \"Cuckooland\" for Zero-G and Time & Space. During that time I'd gone from recording on multitrack tape to having a digital multitask machine (Soundscape), which blew my mind. Those days had me learning about synthesis, and sound engineering in particular. We actually moved into a flat, and made a studio - all above the flat which was the birth place of Bent. 1996 to late 1997 had me starting to collect \"dodgy\" records from second hand shops, after I had sold all my gear to move to Canada, and it was during this time that I got into sampling \"daft\" things and collecting lots of potential sounds on minidisk. Roll on early 1998, and I had moved in with Nail. One floor beneath where I'd lived before. Bent was born. Somehow the dots connected and it all came to fruition, after years of hoping and honing. There's plenty here from the Bent era and beyond, too. Some of it I am very happy with. Same makes me laugh. There are embarrassing moments in there too., but hey, I was 16/17! ..Either way I've kept the lot in, warts and all :) Shout out to those who have been part of a 30 year musical journey! I've spent a lot of time alone and with amazing people, making music and dreaming, hoping.. aspiring.. laughing! ...and long may it continue. Thanks to everyone for your amazing support since the start... Listeners, friends and sidekicks, managers, singers, musicians, DJs, Radio stations..agents.. all of you! If I named you all personally, I'd kill my keyboard. But you know who you are, and I miss you!
