P.S. I have another question, but it is about the installation of a plugin. I have downloaded the plugin from the link you sent me, and I extracted the ZIP file. I checked the documentation and it says to unzip and run su2kt.rb. I did that, but I did not see any plugin. What did I do wrong?
I then went to the properties of the active one, and then to the plugin settings, and saved that file as a plugin named KT2. Then I closed Sketchup, and opened Sketchup again, and the plugin manager had a new KT2 plugin under the main Sketchup plugin. I think the problem was solved.
Then I opened Sketchup again, and the plugin manager showed me that I had two plugins. One of them was named Sketchup 2.5 and it was grayed out, while the other one was named KT2 and it was active and working.
Hi Josh. Thanks for the reply. I was able to solve the problem, but then I read your answer. I think I got it right. What I did, was to follow what you said about the folder and the.rb file. I opened Sketchup, went to the plugin manager, clicked on SU2kerkythea, and copied the two files. Then I went to the program files, and had it store it in a new folder (I called it KT2), and also copied the.rb file from that new folder to Sketchup.
Your plugin works fine with the default installation of Sketchup 8.0.3. I do not know why you have to copy the file into the plugins folder. It is not listed in the Plugin Manager, so there should not be any reason to copy it.
