If you have problems syncing music, pictures, or other large files in which the connection suddenly closes, there may be an issue with a serial driver that is installed on the device. Unless you are using a VPN server or a firewall that is blocking your large files from synchronization, you may try switching your device into RNDIS mode to fix your large file sync problem. If your device has a USB to PC option, you might use this workaround:
Windows Vista Mobile Centre will not run older installer for Pocket PC apps that need activesynch. I have a bunch and the only way so far has been to install a virtual machine with XP installed withing Vista. The Pocket PC is seen OK in Vista and I can transfer data but inless the Pocket PC app came with a CAB file to place on the SD card i am stuck. So does anyone know how to fool Vista into installing Activesynch or making Vista Mobile Centre behave like Activesynch. Ross 153554b96e
